2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4 — 4.0L — Owned Since 2014
Selling my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4x4. I have owned this Jeep since 2014 and have put a tremendous amount of work into it over the years. It has been maintained, repaired, and upgraded extensively.
It has the legendary 4.0L inline-six engine with automatic transmission. The original engine was replaced in 2017 with a 1998 Jeep 4.0L engine. I have documentation for the engine replacement as well as extensive service records.
Major work and upgrades include Bilstein shocks, heavy-duty control arms, upgraded track bar, steering stabilizer, ball joints, brakes, radiator, transmission cooler, alternator, starter, power-steering pump, custom steel front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, and BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, along with numerous other repairs and improvements.
The front end is solid, and the Jeep does NOT have the notorious Jeep “death wobble.”
I have owned this XJ for more than a decade and know its history. This is an increasingly hard-to-find Jeep Cherokee XJ, and I would much rather see it go to someone who appreciates these Jeeps.
